Apple has started to repair the broken glass for iPhone 5 owners within its store at a cost of $149 and can be purchased with or without AppleCare+, according to customer reports.
A forum post from iPhone repair site Quick iFix has confirmed that the repairs are available for the devices with the broken display and also for who have problems with multitouch. The price of $149, for a glass repair has been considered competitive, forcing the site Quick ifix to lower its price from $174.99 to $139.99.
Apple is expected to offer other types of repairs directly inside the Store for issues with camera, home and sleep buttons, and logic boards , starting from the month of July.
